When it comes to Pike/Tiger Muskie fishing it's all about the casting of different lures. Pike/Tiger Muskie are much more intelligent than people give them credit for. We don't use any type of bait and we don't bobber fish. We are into promoting catch and release. We will show you different types of lures and how to work them properly. The Pend Oreille River has Pike weighing in the excess of 20lbs.The average Pike weigh around 6-7 pounds. Newman lake has many Tiger Muskies over 40" and boy do they fight. The average Newman Tiger Muskie is around 30". The state regulations for keeping Tiger Muskies is set at 50" so these are a CPR fish meaning they are Catch-Photo- and Release type of fish, unless your lucky enough to catch that 50 incher.
